Courtney is a New York native who now resides in Los Angeles working as an actress, producer, director & writer. After College, where she studied Opera, Dance & Theatre, Courtney packed 3 suitcases and headed west to pursue her life long dream of becoming an actress in Hollywood. Some of Courtney’s past work includes a guest starring role with Dave Foley and Greg Behrendt in “The Sensible Traveler”, (an original web series), and a supporting role in a film with Michael Madsen, Kim Morgan Green, Justin Hartley & Fileena Bahris called “A Way with Murder”. Courtney also had the pleasure of working on the Nickelodeon hit show True Jackson VP for 2 years, which she credits for teaching her everything she ever wanted to know about sitcoms.
Courtney has a background in marketing and business development and has always had a knack for networking, and project management. Naturally, producing was the next logical step in her career. She has produced several music videos (Most notably, ‘Empty’ by former Sevenwiser lead singer, Jon Santos, and Dance with me by Fallzone -She also directed the latter video) and a short film and is now devoting all of her time to her pet project, a scripted web series called “Hollywood Girl”, which can be seen at www.hollywoodgirltv.com. In 2011, she wrote and directed her first commercial for Doritos Crash The Superbowl Contest which has garnered positive reviews, and has just completed her first feature length screenplay, slated to start production in 2012 in Los Angeles and Nebraska.
Courtney is of the mindset that in this industry, you have to be proactive and create your own opportunities. She enjoys every aspect of the industry and continues to learn all she can as both an Actor and a Producer/Director.
When not working, Courtney enjoys working out which helps her to stay focused and healthy when her life gets hectic. Also an avid reader, Courtney discovered a powerful tool in the form of a book named "Creative Visualization" (Shakti Gawain) which has now become a part of her daily routine towards success. Some of her interests include editing, traveling, cooking, wine tasting and learning to speak French.
